HTK-AS89 “Modern Czech AF paint set vol. 1”

The Czech AF was one of the first amongst the former Warsaw Pact armies to develop a totally new camouflage scheme (after more than 20 years it is still in active use). The new colours were first observed in mid-1990s on eleven W-3 helicopters and were later used on Mi-2, Mi-8/17/171 and Mi-24V. In mid-2000s the same scheme was also adopted on Let-410 transports and (without green colour) on L-159A/T1 light fighters/trainers. Since 2005 Czech AF operates 12 JAS 39C and 2 JAS 39D in primary fighter role, which feature a standard Gripen scheme of FS36173 over FS36373.

HTK-AS89 includes standard colours of Czech aircraft since 1990s. The set contains:

    • HTK-A031 - Gunship Grey - FS36118, used for upper surfaces camouflage of Czech AF helicopters (incl. Mi-24V, W-3A, Mi-8/17/171), L-410, C-295M and L-159A/T1
